5. Plantain Oil (Plantago major and Olive Oil)
A wonderful way to soften, soothe and heal any manner of skin conditions and is recommended for babies and small children instead lotions. Has been used for pain, heat, swelling and even allergic reactions; it's an astringent, antiseptic and emollient. It has been used to relieve pain of insect bites, as a wonderful remedy for cuts, skin infections, irritations, dryness, sprains, rashes, chafed skin, boils, bruises, chapped and cracked lips, rough or sore hands, diaper rash, and burns.
